The SETRENLO® inline toilet vent is a DIY premium component for retrofitting composting toilets.
It reliably removes odors via a refillable activated carbon system and can be compactly integrated into the vent pipe.
What is the purpose of the inline toilet ventilation?
Even composting toilets can produce odors – especially with frequent use or insufficient ventilation.
The SETRENLO® inline toilet ventilation system is integrated directly into the ventilation pipe and directs the exhaust air in a controlled manner via an activated carbon filter.
What type of activated carbon is included?
The inline toilet ventilation system comes standard with SETRENLO® vegan activated carbon.
This is ideal for standard use and reliably binds unpleasant odors.
For users with special requirements – e.g., in very high temperatures or changing climatic conditions – the SETRENLO® Expedition activated carbon is available as an option.

Sustainability through design
The SETRENLO® inline toilet vent is designed for a long service life.
Instead of replacing entire filter elements, only the activated carbon in SETRENLO® filters needs to be replaced. This saves material, reduces waste, and lowers operating costs in the long run.
The housing of the inline toilet ventilation system is made from renewable raw materials and is designed for continuous use. The activated carbon used is based on coconut shells and can be disposed of with regular household waste after use.
