The founders: Karin and Michael
We're Karin and Michael – long-term travelers, tinkerers, and freedom-lovers who developed our own toilet on the road. SETRENLO® was born out of our everyday travels because we wanted a composting toilet that really works – without litter, without odor, and with the comfort of home. Whether it's hot, cold, windy, or dusty.
The status quo wasn't good enough for us. Many systems require compromises – in function, design, or materials. Our solutions are high-quality, durable, and well-thought-out – made with robust materials instead of cheap plastic. Developed, tested, and optimized over years – in a wide variety of environments around the world.
The result: a sustainable, self-contained composting toilet and DIY premium components that deliver on their promises – without compromising on design, quality, or sustainability.
