Why the delivery of the SETRENLO® Delux composting toilet is paused – and what this means for you

We are thrilled—and frankly overwhelmed—by the tremendous interest in the SETRENLO® Toilet – Deluxe Edition. This strong demand shows us that our concept is in tune with the times: high-quality, well-thought-out, and sustainable.

At the same time, we see potential for further improving production in some areas—in processes, structures, and materials. These optimizations were already planned, but at a later date.

The withdrawal of a key production partner has prompted the decision to implement these steps earlier than expected – consciously, purposefully, and with a forward-looking approach.

As a result, we have to temporarily pause the delivery of the SETRENLO® Klo – Delux Edition:

👉 This measure only affects the SETRENLO® Klo – Delux Edition and the DIY components such as the separation insert, urine tank and solid waste container.

👉 All other products and components are still available.

This decision wasn't easy for us. But we're convinced that the pause will create space to restructure our production, make processes more robust with reliable partners, and secure our quality promise in the long term.

👉 Delivery of the SETRENLO® Klo – Delux Edition is expected to be paused until the beginning of 2026.

👉 New orders are currently not possible.

👉 Orders already placed will of course be delivered as planned.

We know this news is disappointing for some of you—especially if you were thinking about ordering a SETRENLO® toilet soon. Please understand: This pause is necessary so that we can continue to offer you a product that meets the highest standards.

In recent weeks, we've already acquired new partners who share our values of quality and sustainability. This lays the foundation for us to be able to fulfill our quality promise long-term and without restrictions.
