InRoom toilet ventilation

the refillable

for all composting toilets

How it works

Sentrelo_exhaust_air_filter_landscape.jpg

The way your exhaust air filter from SETRENLO® - the green loo works is very simple. Every time something gets into the tank, regardless of whether it is a urine, feces or waste water tank, the air is pushed out through the tank vent. Otherwise, excess pressure would build up and at some point nothing would get in anymore.

The exhaust air filter uses this phenomenon. That's why it's important that you connect it directly to the tank ventilation.

So if air escapes from the tank, it obviously doesn't smell so great. With the exhaust filter installed, the air has to pass through the vegan activated carbon from SETRENLO® - the green loo. This eliminates the bad smells and you no longer smell anything. Simple but effective!

Filling with activated carbon

The central part of your exhaust filter, i.e. this long gray tube, is the container for the SETRENLO® Vegan Activated Carbon. You must fill this before using it for the first time.

To fill in the activated carbon, first unscrew one of the two sides.

Then fill the container completely with the SETRENLO® Vegan Activated Carbon.

After filling, you can put the grid back in.

Make sure you place the O-ring seal on the grille. Then reconnect.

Screw it on. Just tight enough so that it cannot come loose on its own.

Your exhaust air filter is now ready for use.

You should replace the SETRENLO® Vegan Activated Carbon once a year to ensure that the odor absorption works.

The installation

Your SETRENLO® exhaust air filter is designed to be compatible with all commercially available urine, faeces and waste water tanks. Installation is very simple and, with a little manual skill, can be carried out in a very short time.

The tank, whether it is a urine, feces or waste water tank, should have a connection for tank ventilation. This can be 19 or 16 mm in diameter. You should connect the SETRENLO® exhaust air filter to this connection.

The SETRENLO® exhaust air filter must be mounted above the tank so that under no circumstances can liquids enter the SETRENLO® exhaust air filter.

Please note!

  • Installation may only take place in dry rooms.

  • Outdoor installation is not permitted.
